![]() EmploymentThe Catholic Schools Office (CSO), Diocese of Broken Bay has many employment opportunities for school based and CSO staff. Suitably qualified and experienced applicants are invited to apply. School leadership, teaching and support staff vacancies are advertised in the Sydney Morning Herald, on www.teachers.on.net and on the CSO website. All advertisements can be found at employment opportunities . An outline of the essential and specific criteria for each vacancy and details of the application process are included. Advertisements for CSO office positions are also advertised in the Sydney Morning Herald unless a recruitment agency has been engaged to fill the vacancy in which case advertisements will be placed in accordance with the agency’s usual advertising practice. It is advisable that classification and accreditation applications are in process at the time of application for a vacancy as all employment requirements must be completed before an applicant can commence employment in a permanent, temporary or casual capacity. For further information please refer to classification, NSW Institute of Teachers and new scheme teachers and/or child protection. Successful applicants for CSO based positions based are not required to complete the classification or accreditation processes but may be subject to Child Protection screening prior to commencement of employment. Application requirements School leadership positions - applicants interested in Principal, Assistant Principal and/or Religious Education Coordinator roles in Broken Bay are required to complete a job application package to be considered for a leadership role. All job application packages include the position description and criteria for the role. Teachers - applicants are required to complete a teacher application form and to provide a supporting letter to the Principal addressing the essential and specific criteria for the position they are applying. Teachers apply to the Principal of the school in which they wish to work. School support staff – applicants are to provide a curriculum vitae and a supporting letter to the Principal addressing the essential and specific criteria for the position they are applying.
