Strategic Plan

Overview

Catholic Schools Going Forward Together 2007-2010

Catholic Schools Going Forward Together 2007-2010 brings together a collaborative consultation process that has involved pastors, school staff and many in other diocesan ministries. The process identifies five priority areas where our energy needs to be directed in the next four years.

This plan is carefully aligned with the Diocesan Pastoral Plan Pastoral Care for Evangelisation 2006-2010. School staff will continue to play an important role to integrate the diocesan vision with the lived experience of the students.

The focus of Going Forward Together 2007-2010 is on students.  Parents can be confident that their Catholic schools are continuing to provide quality Catholic education in a safe and nurturing environment, equipping students to make a difference in the world as disciples of Jesus. In striving to achieve this goal schools will work in partnership with parents and parishes.

This plan will energise our school communities to find new and better ways to nurture, catechise and inspire the students entrusted to our schools.
